Arkreen and Srcful Collaborate to Monetize Solar Energy Data through On-Chain RECs and Expand Dual Rewards
Srcful, built on the Solana blockchain, and Arkreen, operating on an EVM-compatible chain, are both leading energy projects within decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePIN). They have successfully integrated their APIs to unlock real-time solar power generation data from connected solar devices. This collaboration marks a significant advancement in the renewable energy and blockchain sectors by enabling the on-chain monetization of solar energy data.
As part of this partnership, solar equipment connected to Srcful will now be able to utilize the Arkreen Network to issue tokenized Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) on-chain. By transforming solar power generation data into on-chain assets, both platforms aim to offer users new opportunities to realize the financial value of their energy contributions to a decentralized network.
Moreover, miners on the Srcful platform will now have the opportunity to engage in mining rewards across two ecosystems, driving growth together. Participants can earn rewards from both Srcful and Arkreen simultaneously, further enhancing their incentives and promoting deeper engagement in the decentralized energy ecosystem.
Together, Srcful and Arkreen are committed to building out the distributed energy network of the future. By exploring demand-side applications that convert energy data into environmental asset RECs, they align with broader goals of sustainable energy monetization. Additionally, Srcful’s strategic partnerships, including with Helium, aim to drive growth by accessing Helium’s extensive network of IoT miners.
This collaboration represents an exciting evolution in the energy data space, providing new pathways for decentralized energy networks to integrate with blockchain technology and bring financial value to sustainable energy efforts.
