Arkreen, a Web3-powered infrastructure company focused on globally distributed renewable energy resources and carbon-reduction applications, has announced a significant partnership with AquaSave. As DePIN Partners for the “Plug for Green Program (PGP),” AquaSave and Arkreen are uniting under the Green DePIN initiative to integrate carbon neutrality into Decentralized Physical infrastructure networks (DePIN) , fostering a sustainable future. This collaboration underscores a shared commitment to making DePIN’s future greener and more impactful, contributing to a better world.

AquaSave: Leading Sustainable Water Management

AquaSave, known for its pioneering use of IoT devices, blockchain technology, and smart data analysis, is at the forefront of sustainable water resource management. Through community participation, AquaSave provides real-time insights to ensure responsible global water management.

Under the Plug for Green Program, Arkreen will enable AquaSave to implement real-time energy consumption monitoring plus on-chain offset mechanism and also offer innovative green incentives to the AquaSave community. Thanks to Web3’s flexible composability, Arkreen Smart Plug can be used to measure how much electricity the AquaSave’s DePIN unit consumes and allows the users to on-chain offset it with Arkreen’s green assets tokenized RECs and receive Arkreen token rewards in addition to those from AquaSave mining. It’s often said to be a composable dual-mining mechanism, which attracts every environmental participant. AquaSave and Arkreen are also currently exploring on-chain issuance of water footprint certificates based on the usage data of AquaSave through the Arkreen AREC bridge protocol. These certificates can then be utilized for on-chain offsets in voluntary carbon neutrality applications.

By contributing to the voluntary energy offsetting mechanism, Arkreen is advocating the Green DePIN initiative so that every DePIN project and every DePIN participant can adopt a carbon neutralization infrastructure.
